All about the anti cellulite diets
June 26th, 2008Summer or winter, skirts and dresses will always look hot, continuing to be a sign of feminity, seduction and sensuality. Unfortunately, cellulite can easily turn an excellent mini-skirt into a disagreeable view, if hips or legs are looking like the orange peel. In order to understand how we can fight cellulite without using cosmetic treatments or even plastic surgery, we can start by defining cellulite.
Cellulite represents an accumulation of fat in the fat cells under the skin. Whenever the fat cells grow, the local circulation is affected and a series of fat cells break, spreading fat in the inter-cellular space. After that, a small inflammatory process occurs, leading to the formation of fat tissues in shapes of lumps. Obviously, once installed, cellulite is hard to remove, requiring a lot of patience, time and motivation.
Anti cellulite diets are based on lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as fibre rich foods. Vitamins are also important when it comes to working against cellulite from inside out.
- Vitamin A plays an important role in the regeneration process of epithelial cells, and skin cells specifically.
- The B-Complex vitamins are involved in a series of metabolic processes and maintaining tissues healthy.
- The C vitamin generates oxidative processes into the body and also helps producing the collagen, which is essential for maintaining healthy under skin tissues.
An anti cellulite diet requires eating foods that are rich in vitamins and minerals, simply said, fruits and vegetables. Add proteins (in form of chicken or fish meat), fibre rich foods (like cereals) and you have a great recipe to stat with in your battle against cellulite. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t see results after a couple of weeks; shaping the under skin fat tissues is a slow process that requires a lot of patience.
